Genesis.....one last time
Last Domino Tour by Nitro Circus on November 27, 2026. The seats were great, the sound was great, the band was great. Phil, despite various health issues, still has a voice that can get it done. His humor and audience banter, always great, is making the best out of it. The song selection was... acceptable. For a casual (or 80s) Genesis fan, it most likely was a dream come true. For us progressive rock and early Genesis fans, it was a far stretch from what it could have been. Very fortunate and lucky to have seen Genesis on every tour since 1981 (ABACAB). Overall, a great show. Very glad that my girlfriend was able to see them before they pack it in. Lots of wonderful Genesis related memories over the last 40 years.
KeyBank Center in Buffalo, a nice venue built in the mid/late 90s, has a great location in the inner harbor of Lake Erie. The staff was pleasant and kept everyone moving in the proper direction. Beverage prices are outrageous, but that's everywhere these days.
A wonderful evening with wonderful company, seeing a wonderful band for the last time.
